2021 - IV Young Researchers Meeting CIBERONC_BBN

Welcome to the IV Young Researchers Meeting that will take place in a hybrid format on December 13th and 14 th. The emphasis of this congress will be placed on the best results obtained by our young researchers with their participation with oral communication and posters. Besides, the event has three round tables focused on publishing with high impacts, personalized medicine and the dissemination of scientific results in social networks. We will also have a plenary lecture with a recognized guest of honor who will update us on his field of study. Finally, we will award prizes for the best predoctoral and postdoctoral oral communications as well as the best poster.

Since 2018 CIBERONC has organized the Young Researchers Meetings. CIBERONC was founded in 2017 as a cancer research area of CIBER. CIBERONC, with more than 50 research groups, is in charge of promoting the collaboration between the cancer research group at national levels. CIBERONC was formed by six different categories: Gastrointestinal Tumours, Breast Cancer, Respiratory Tract Tumours, Haematological Tumours, Low Prevalence Tumours and Mechanisms of tumour progression. This year for the first time, CIBER BBN will be present on the organizing committee. CIBER BBN is the CIBER research area focused on scientific research on bioengineering, biomaterials and nanomedicine.

Following the idea of the development of young researchers. CIBERONC has assembled an organizing committee made up of 7 young researchers from CIBERONC, each from one of the lines of research, and another 2 from CIBER BBN. In the organizing committee we also can find Izaskun Miguel García coordinator from CIBERONC and Alba Perez coordinator from CIBER BBN.
